I read the Lord of the Rings in high school, shortly before the movies came out. Both the books and movies became an obsession for several years; my parents graciously took me to see the Fellowship of the Ring in the movie theaters seven times. (Thanks guys!) In college my roommates knew they could always rely on me for answers to any of their LOTR-related questions.
I made this drawing of Aragorn back in 2003, and it's still one of my favorites because of all the detail I lovingly put into the clothing.
The drawing is titled "That Other Guy" which is some inside LOTR joke that I can't remember anymore.
Although no longer obsessed with LOTR to the degree that I once was, I still love the books and consider the movies to be the best movies evar.
