The abandoned factory

Lately I've been interested in industrial styles. So I put together this treasury, inspired by the now-defunct twine factory in my hometown.

If you don't know what industrial means, it means a lot of rusted metal, bare lightbulbs, weathered old carts, burlap fabrics, giant metal letters and vintage glass bottles. It's kind of rough and spartan, sure, but I guess I like the masculine, urban edge to it. I'm sure that a lot of interior designers out there are "so over" the trendy cart coffee tables and tripod floor lamps, but I still think it's awesome.

  1. That is a great treasury! I love photos of abandoned places... this is one site I've had bookmarked for years and years... you might enjoy it too!
