I've decided that I'm going to save a small portion of each drawworm sale to donate to Heifer International. I want to buy their Gift of Honeybees, which provides one struggling family with the training and supplies they need to become beekeepers. Because you know the proverb: give a man a bee, and...uh...something.
I can already hear you saying, "but drawworm, why honeybees?"
Answer: because this ice cream is seriously delicious, and I don't want their supply of honey to run out.

Haagen-Dazs has links and information on other organizations that are researching honeybees, so I may also donate to them in the future. Or, hey how about this: since money from the sales of their honey ice cream goes towards these organizations, maybe I should just set up an "ice cream fund" and do it that way. Win-win situation, right?
