Everyone needs a tiny world in a jar, with gentle sloping hills and hallucinogenic mushrooms. Ok, the mushrooms are clay, but the moss is real. How cute is this?! The sunlit photography and beautiful staging really sells these things. The seller has lots of them in different shapes and sizes of glass jars, but I think this one is my favorite.
According to blithegardens, all the terrarium needs is sunshine and a little misting now and then. (Just like me.) Sounds like something even I, who killed a small rosemary bush despite my best efforts last year, could handle. With the serious lack of outdoors that living in a city apartment entails, I love the idea of having a little jar of green life sitting on my dining room table.
