Finished! "That looks great!!" the customer said when I sent her the image. So I'll be sending it off to it's new home this afternoon!This drawing definitely has one of the most detailed backgrounds I've drawn in a long time. Usually I just leave the background white or shade in a simple medium tone. But I felt like a plain background wouldn't give the right outdoorsy atmosphere for this drawing, and a white background would keep the white highlights from standing out.
